Junzhuo Industry Watch | October 19–25, 2026
Publication date: October 26, 2026

This edition brings together five company announcements on product launches, market access, approved uses, and sales. Dates identify the announcements; the underlying launch, approval, or application acceptance may have occurred earlier.

01 | HArmonyCa Recently Launched in the UAE

October 21 | Allergan Aesthetics

Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie company, confirmed HArmonyCa's recent introduction in the UAE in its AMWC Dubai 2026 announcement. The release outlined research presentations and medical education planned for the October 21–23 congress.

HArmonyCa combines hyaluronic acid (HA) and calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA) in one injectable formulation. According to the company, the HA component provides immediate support, while the CaHA component has a biostimulatory role.

02 | Sihuan Reports Hong Kong Approvals for Two Injectable Products

October 20 | Sihuan Pharmaceutical

In a voluntary announcement filed with HKEX, Sihuan Pharmaceutical said that a polycaprolactone (PCL) microsphere facial filler and a sodium hyaluronate composite injectable solution, both developed and manufactured by its subsidiary Meiyan Space, had recently been approved for market launch in Hong Kong.

PCL is a polymer, whereas CaHA is an inorganic calcium-phosphate material. The announcement did not disclose Hong Kong sales targets or revenue contributions.

03 | Galderma Reports 8.5% Growth in Fillers and Biostimulators

October 22 | Galderma

Galderma reported net sales of USD 914 million for its Fillers & Biostimulators business in the first nine months of 2026, up 8.5% year-on-year at constant currency. Sculptra continued to deliver double-digit growth in both the U.S. and international markets.

The release also noted continued softness in the fillers market.

04 | Sculptra Expands Body Applications in the UAE

October 21 | Galderma

In its AMWC Dubai 2026 announcement, Galderma highlighted Sculptra's recent UAE approval for expanded body applications in the gluteal area, posterior thighs, and décolletage. The release also outlined congress discussions on these applications.

Sculptra is based on poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). Its approved uses in the UAE previously covered the face; the latest approval extends that scope to the body areas listed above.

05 | NMPA Accepts Profhilo Registration Application for Facial Use

October 20, Hong Kong time | Sisram Medical

Sisram Medical announced that China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) had accepted the registration application for Profhilo's facial indication in September 2026. The company has begun preparations for commercialization in China, including distribution strategy and medical education.

Profhilo is a sodium hyaluronate injectable. Acceptance of the registration application does not constitute marketing approval in mainland China.

Weekly Perspective

Galderma reported double-digit Sculptra growth despite a soft fillers market. Its 8.5% growth rate covers the combined Fillers & Biostimulators portfolio and cannot be used to infer market growth for CaHA- or PLLA-based injectables alone. The other four announcements concern regional launches and regulatory developments, without comparable sales data.
