On November 24, 2023, the project kickoff and implementation plan demonstration meeting for the National Key R&D Program, "Research and Development of Joint Cartilage Repair Technology and Implants Based on Biomimetic Nanomaterials (2022YFA1207500)", led by Professor Jinwu Wang from the Ninth People's Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, was successfully held at the Pudong Science and Education Campus.
The meeting was attended by over 50 prominent experts and project members, including Director Feng Zhang and Supervisor Rui Sha from the High Technology Research and Development Center. Key project responsibility experts included Professor Mingjie Liu from Beihang University and Professor Qiaojun He from Zhejiang University. Other distinguished attendees featured Academicians Kerong Dai and Yudong Gu, as well as multiple directors, professors, and researchers from leading institutions such as Fudan University, Southern University of Science and Technology, Henan University, Shanghai University, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Representatives from Nanjing Junzhuo Biotechnology Co., Ltd., along with other core corporate and academic partners, actively participated in the kickoff meeting to discuss the strategic implementation and clinical translation of biomimetic nanomaterials in orthopedic repairs.
